Bestival is an award winning 3 day boutique music festival held annually in late summer since 2004, in a small country park called 'Robin Hill'- a beautiful leafy country park (a veritable Garden of Eden)!. The event is organized by BBC Radio 1 leftfield DJ Rob da Bank and is an off-shoot of his Sunday Best record label and club nights.
Aside from the mind-blowing music and fantastical frolics, Bestival has always been renowned for its fancy dress themes.

The theme of Festival 2010 is ‘God Songs in a Strange Land'. With Bible Studies led by former Principal of Cliff College, Rev Dr Howard Mellor, and a diverse range of special guests - from Adrian and Bridget Plass to DJ Kubiks (Christian Drum'n'bass artist), a gospel choir and a drum workshop - there will be a variety of ways to engage with the theme, enjoy fellowship together and become better equipped to serve God in today's world. A new stream of dedicated seminars will put the icing on the youth programme of Bible studies, celebrations and other activities, ensuring that Festival is about equipping the young as well as the old(er!) to live as disciples of Jesus in an ever-changing and more challenging world. As always, there will be an energetic and creative programme for children too.

It continues to push the boundaries of popular culture and raise the benchmark and in doing so has become an institution that has inspired a near religious devotion from its loyal followers.

The idea with the End of the Road Festival was to organise an intimate festival with our favourite artists and the festival has a friendly and relaxed feel. The Larmer Tree Gardens (North Dorset/Wiltshire borders, UK) is the perfect venue to create this kind of atmosphere - where music-loving, open minded and chilled out people get together in the beautiful countryside whilst parrots and peacocks wander around!
